UK telecom BT has cancelled its project to turn up to 60,000 street cabinets used for broadband and phone cabling into EV charging points, having converted just one cabinet.
Etc., the startup and digital incubation arm at BT Group, has announced that it will power up its first EV charging unit built from a street cabinet traditionally used to store broadband and phone cabling.
