This collaboration aims to enhance the efficiency and connectivity of EV infrastructure, empower communities with convenient charging access, and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Voltpost's mission is to bring sustainable EV charging to more people by retrofitting lampposts into a modular EV charging platform. This reduces the cost, timing, and footprint of charger deployment, providing cities and companies scalable curbside and parking lot charging.

Voltpost provides connected charging infrastructure to public and private customers. AT&T's IoT connectivity will enhance charger uptime and ensure reliable charging access for drivers.

AT&T and Voltpost recently co-hosted a connected mobility leadership event. Gabe Klein, executive director of the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation, discussed the importance of innovative charging solutions, highlighting the need for curbside charging that utilises existing infrastructure.

"Enabling cities to scale their charging networks with existing infrastructure and advanced connectivity is a game-changer," said Joe Mosele, VP, AT&T Connected Solutions.

Voltpost says it has an extensive pipeline of upcoming deployments, aligning with AT&T's goal to help customers reduce one billion metric tons of CO2 by 2035.
