Through this award, EVAR (Electric Vehicle Automatic Recharging) has become the first EV charger manufacturer to receive five Innovation Awards from CES in two consecutive years.
Parky, an autonomous EV charging robot, won in the ‘Robotic’ and ‘Smart-Cities’ categories at CES 2023. Since the spin-off from Samsung Electronics, EVAR has been researching autonomous robots for efficient EV charging under the motto of ‘Hassle-Free EV Life.’ Unlike conventional fixed EV chargers, ESS mounted Parky is independent of a parking spot and charges EVs when and where the driver needs it.
‘Smart Cities’ category honouree VMC, Van-Mounted Charger, is the solution that can provide rapid EV charging when drivers need it most. The solution is specialised to an area where there is insufficient EV Charging infrastructure and provides emergency relief to drained EVs and safety to EV drivers. This solution is getting the spotlight from various insurance agencies and the telecare business.
EVAR’s award-winning products are being displayed at CES Eureka Park, Las Vegas, between the 5th to 8th of January 2023.
“We are overwhelmed that we won CES Innovation Award for the second year in a row while delivering over 10,000 smart EV chargers (CES 2022 Honouree) within the first year of release. Driven by this momentum and with our various EV chargers, we wish to be the ultimate global EV charging solution provider” said Steve Lee, CEO of EVAR.
