Dawn, Charge Amps’ newest charging station is derived from the company’s Halo and Aura devices, and the company says it displays the same elegant design and power.
Dawn is designed to make public charging as easy as possible and is futureproofed both when it comes to software and hardware. Through modular elements the station can be updated easily with new technological functionalities as well as hardware features. It is also MID certified, which is a requirement for charging stations in certain European markets.
The new Beam charging cable can charge up to 32A at all charging stations that meet the EU-standard for type 2, meaning an even smoother charging experience. It also comes with a lighter storage bag that takes up minimal space.
Meanwhile, the Amp Guard load balancer optimises EV charging. It tracks the electricity consumption of a household to prevent overloading of available capacity and prevents circuit breaks. It can be configured through WiFi or LAN, and when connected with Charge Amps Cloud it enables EV charging through own-produced solar power.
According to Olle Tholander, CEO of Charge Amps, the three new products take the company’s innovation, design, and functionality to the next level, while keeping its market-leading standard for durability and products that withstand every type of climate. “Our new products represent the next generation of sustainable innovation and an even greater user experience,” he said.
