This massive site boasts 65 chargers and can service up to 200 electric trucks daily, making it North America's largest operational charging station for heavy-duty electric freight.

Located near the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the key trade hubs for the US, the station will significantly reduce congestion and wait times for electric truck fleets. It's currently used by Einride's clients, including Maersk, and will soon be open to other operators.

"This is a major step towards a more sustainable US freight system," said Robert Falck, Einride's CEO. "The station's proximity to major ports will accelerate the shift to electric trucks in a critical region."

"We built this impressive facility in under 18 months," said Matt Horton, CEO of Voltera, Einride's infrastructure partner. "This experience will be invaluable as we expand zero-emission charging infrastructure nationwide."

Beyond charging, the station offers driver amenities, real-time charging status updates, and integrates with Einride's intelligent freight operating system, Saga. This allows for optimised routing and improved fleet efficiency.

The Lynwood station marks a key milestone in Einride's mission to revolutionise freight transportation. It's the first of many planned across the US, with construction for new sites starting later this year. These stations will offer cleaner air, faster charging, and increased productivity for electric truck fleets.
