Over the next 12 months, Kaluza will build a local team of energy solution experts, product leaders and software engineers to support activity in the region. The team will work closely with Kaluza customer AGL Energy, one of Australia’s largest energy retailers and generators, to ensure the success of their OVO Energy Australia joint venture to accelerate the adoption of clean energy solutions across the country and develop new EV and solar propositions for AGL’s customers.

Kaluza is also expanding its managed charging program to New Zealand with partner Meridian Energy. Through this new service, Kaluza will manage the charging of Meridian’s customers’ EVs in response to their needs as well as market signals and pricing data.

With this expansion, Kaluza also announces the appointment of Conor Maher-McWilliams as Kaluza regional director in ANZ who will spearhead operations from Melbourne, a go-to destination for innovation and tech advancement. Conor brings a wealth of expertise to the role following his successful leadership of Kaluza's pioneering demand response programmes, including the world's first and largest vehicle-to-grid deployment.
