CTEP certifies that Kempower’s equipment meets and exceeds regulatory standards that protect consumers from faulty or fraudulent devices — ensuring consumers are charged accurately for the energy they use.

During the evaluation conducted 11 June through 13 June 2024, Kempower’s DC fast charging products demonstrated high accuracy and reliability, with all repeatability tests resulting in less than 1.0% error, favouring consumers.

“Achieving CTEP certification demonstrates our commitment to delivering high accuracy charging to protect our customers. Kempower’s base model products performed to the best accuracy class of 2.0 — similar to commonly used third party DC meters — providing lower cost options with exceptional performance, consistently favouring consumers,” says Somia Youssef, product specialist for North America who led the certification process.
