Storm and Q8 will together launch Belgium's pioneering full-service EV fast-charging network. The partnership aims to establish up to 200 fast-charging stations at strategic locations in the next five years, revolutionising the EV driving experience in Belgium.

Under this groundbreaking initiative, Kempower will deliver its charging solutions to the first fast-charging stations of Storm and Q8 in Belgium. The new fast-charging stations, integrated with shops and restaurants, will redefine convenience and accessibility for EV users. The rollout has just begun with the first four locations becoming operational this month in Beringen, Aalter, Waasmunster and Kampenhout.

The new charging hubs will offer up to 400 kW of power per hub. The delivered Kempower solutions include Power Units and Satellites (both CCS2 and CHAdeMO). In addition to electric passenger cars, these stations will accommodate electric light trucks and vans. Payment can be settled using all current charging cards, with the Q8 electric app, and with any debit or credit card. In addition, each charger will be accessible to people with disabilities.
