This achievement establishes Leidos as the sole vendor authorised by the DIU to provide a FedRAMP-accredited, budget-neutral EV CaaS solution for the Department of Defense (DOD) and US government.
In under a year, Leidos made significant progress in planning, designing, and deploying third-party financed EV charging infrastructure to support non-tactical fleet operations at Air Force Plant 42, Dover Air Force Base, and Fairchild Air Force Base. This effort offers a budget-neutral solution that ensures mission continuity and aligns with the arrival of non-tactical EVs.
Leidos is now officially authorised to deliver make-ready infrastructure and fully furnished, cybersecure EV charging facilities under a budget-neutral business model. Building on this success, Leidos was awarded its first production agreement by the DAF to design and build EV charging infrastructure at Edwards Air Force Base. This templated model will allow for rapid and secure deployment across military services and the DOD.
