Located at Able Humber Port in Immingham, the hub's first phase is set to be operational by November 2024. Immingham's strategic position on the east coast, with strong road and rail links, makes it a key logistical hub, facilitating efficient cargo distribution across the UK and connections to Europe.

The port services Northern Europe, Scandinavia, and the Baltic regions, with over 30 weekly Ro-Ro and Lo-Lo sailings. The hub will initially feature four high-performance Combined Charging Systems (CCS) powering eight bays, along with amenities like sanitary facilities and vending machines. Future phases will add more chargers, additional facilities, and a lounge area.

The project is part of Milence’s push to support the decarbonisation of the Humber Ports and the transition towards net zero. The location at Able Humber Port, a major offshore wind and renewable energy site, underscores the region's commitment to sustainable transport solutions. This charging hub represents a significant step towards greener road transport and aligns with Milence’s goal of advancing green logistics across Europe.
