Known for its solar-compatible Zappi home charger, Myenergi plans to offer this new V2G charger as a premium product above the Zappi in its range.

V2G technology allows EV owners to discharge power from their vehicle's battery into their home or back to the grid. Previously, this could only be done with expensive DC bidirectional chargers, but Myenergi aims to introduce an innovative AC V2G solution for homes, making the technology more accessible.

“Our goal is to break down barriers to a greener future,” said Lee Sutton, co-founder and chief product officer at Myenergi. “With an AC V2G solution, we can bring this tech to more customers.”

Based in the UK, Myenergi focuses on creating reliable and ergonomic smart energy products that help consumers control energy use, reduce bills, and minimise their carbon footprint.
