The company plans to open a 42-bay fast charging hub near the Crypto.com Arena and Los Angeles Convention Centre by 2026, which will be the largest EV charging facility in downtown LA.

Revel is known for its extensive fast charging network in New York City, where it currently operates 54 chargers across three locations in Brooklyn and Queens. The company is set to significantly expand this network, aiming to quadruple its capacity by mid-next year. Upcoming projects include a 60-bay station in Queens and a 48-bay facility near LaGuardia Airport. Revel will also be launching its first downtown Manhattan station this summer, adding 10 charging bays to the heart of New York City. Additionally, the company has seven more sites under development in the Bay Area.

Revel's CEO, Frank Reig, emphasised the company’s focus on building large fast charging stations in major US cities, with plans to have 1,000 fast chargers across New York City, the Bay Area, and Los Angeles within the next two years. This expansion aims to address the urban charging gap for rideshares, delivery fleets, and regular drivers.

Earlier this year, Revel partnered with Uber to support the ride-hail company’s goal of a zero-emission fleet by 2030. Uber drivers benefit from up to 25% off at Revel’s charging stations, with Uber guaranteeing a minimum usage of the chargers.

Revel's stations are accessible 24/7, offering fast charging for both Tesla and non-Tesla vehicles. Unlike some competitors, Revel allows payments via card readers without requiring a specific app, and there are no additional fees for access or parking.
