The company has had a turbulent 2024, declaring itself insolvent in an April filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
In August it was announced that Exicom Tele-systems, India's largest EV charger manufacturer, was to acquire Tritium through its subsidiary Exicom Power Solutions Netherlands and other step down subsidiaries.
Tritium says Sosinov is "a seasoned leader" in the EV charging industry with a proven track record in driving innovation. It adds that he brings with him a deep understanding of the industry and the expertise needed to deliver transformative products to market.
Tritium comments: "As the founder and former CEO of FreeWire Technologies, Arcady demonstrated exceptional vision in pioneering clean energy solutions. Through the serious challenges facing so many within the EV industry, he gained invaluable insights in navigating those complexities. This has prepared him well to lead with resilience and a forward-thinking approach.
"With the unwavering backing of Exicom, a global leader in clean energy technologies, Tritium now has the financial and operational stability and security to accelerate the development and delivery of next-generation products that redefine the future of EV charging. Arcady’s leadership, combined with Exicom’s robust support, marks a new chapter for Tritium as we work together to deliver innovative solutions that empower the transition to sustainable transportation."
The company says further changes to its management team will be announced soon.
