US DOT answers EV infrastructure funding questions

The application window for the US Department of Transportation's (DOT’s) Electric Vehicle Charger Reliability and Accessibility Accelerator Program, offering up to US$100m in federal funding to stakeholders across the nation, closes Monday, 13 November 2023.

The grant's first wave from the Federal Highway Administration will focus on improving the reliability of the current network by repairing or replacing existing EV charging infrastructure.

The Joint Office is a collaboration between the US Departments of Energy and Transportation to support the buildout of a nationwide network of electric vehicle chargers, zero-emission fuelling infrastructure, and zero-emission transit and school buses.
