EV charging point app Zapmap has published new year-end figures for EV charge point installations in the UK during 2024.

Eco-tech expert Hive has partnered with Zapmap to make charging both at home and on the road more accessible and affordable for EV drivers in the UK.

New stats from Zapmap show that over 6,400 EV charge points were switched on in the first quarter of 2023 in the UK.

New figures from the UK Department for Transport show that the number of installed public devices has increased by 8,680 (31%) in the 12 months to 1 January 2023. The number of rapid charging or above devices increased by 34% over the year, with an additional 1,731 public devices installed.
