This marks the start of a larger initiative to install new EV chargers at Evri's sites across the UK, supporting its net-zero goal by 2035.
Chosen for its dependable equipment and fleet expertise, Blink assists Evri in assessing requirements and optimising infrastructure at busy hub points. The Rugby site, operational 24/7, strategically places chargers convenient for hundreds of staff and fleet vehicles, using the Eve Single Pro line smart charging solution, capable of charging at up to 22kW.
Evri's Rugby hub, processing over one million parcels daily, integrates Blink chargers as part of its plan to enhance charging infrastructure and expand its low carbon fleet, currently comprising 167 electric vans and e-cargo bikes.
Pauline Potter, director of procurement and sustainability at Evri, highlighted the partnership's importance in their journey towards sustainability. With over 2,000 chargers in the UK and Ireland, Blink Charging UK plans further expansion to offer new commercial and home chargers, network services, and fleet management tools.
