The deployment has gone live at Southgate Retail Park for visitors who make use of the retail park’s shops and amenities, which include a Starbucks and a gym.
The two PoGo ultra-rapid chargers are the fastest available in the area and installed with total accessibility in mind. They have wide bays and hatched areas, and a cleverly designed cable management system to make them easy for drivers to use and ensure the area around the units is kept tidy and safe for when the next driver arrives. The chargers allow various payment options, including contactless bank cards, RFID payment cards, PoGo mobile app, webpay, and Octopus Electroverse.
Southgate Retail Park is the first site in a pipeline of projects PoGo is planning with Real Estate Investors (REI) and the PoGo already has five more sites across the Midlands, where the company hopes to install another eleven ultra-rapid chargers in the coming months.
