The company has recently celebrated two major milestones: the installation of eight high-powered chargers at Portland Retail Park in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, and the opening of its 100th rapid charging station in Wales at Capital Shopping Park, Cardiff.

The Cardiff location features ten charging bays, including eight 300kW DC chargers and two AC chargers, while the Mansfield site offers eight 300kW rapid charge points. Both installations are compatible with every EV model currently on the market and can typically add 100 miles of range in just 15-35 minutes, depending on the vehicle.

Osprey's network now boasts over 1,200 charging bays across the UK, with a remarkable 150% expansion in 2023 and an impressive 99% reliability rate. The company's commitment to accessibility is evident in their payment systems, which accept contactless bank cards, Apple/Google Pay, the Osprey App, RFID cards, and various third-party payment methods including fleet cards.

As the UK moves toward its 2035 ban on new petrol and diesel vehicles, Osprey's expansion plays a crucial role in supporting the nation's transition to electric vehicles. All charging stations are powered by 100% renewable energy, contributing to local decarbonisation efforts and improved air quality. The company's excellence in service has earned them recognition as a Zap-Map 'Driver Recommended Network' for four consecutive years, and their locations consistently receive high ratings for safety and accessibility from ChargeSafe.
