The Troniq Modular station is part of the company’s flexible and scalable product portfolio, with power capacity of up to 240kW which is already in service across the European market. The company will assemble the EVBox Troniq Modular for the US market at its Libertyville, Illinois, facility, where it also assembles its AC commercial charging station EVBox Iqon.
EVBox Troniq Modular can charge up to two cars at the same time. It has smart charging features, which allow for power distribution via dynamic and cluster load balancing, enabling energy optimisation on site. The company says the smart charging technology of this station makes it ideal for business, as it maximises charging operation revenue.
EVBox adds that this makes the Troniq Modular a powerhouse in serving the growing demand for EV infrastructure and increased operations.
During CES 2023, EVBox’s CEO Remco Samuels, together with the senior VP of North America, James Fox, will officially introduce the EVBox Troniq Modular to the North American market.
