EVBox North America will start delivering its Build America, Buy America compliant EVBox Troniq Modular in the fourth quarter of 2023 from its US-based factory in Libertyville, IL. The company says it is dedicated to maintaining a local supply chain compliant with the applicable ‘Buy America’ requirements and will be closer to its partners and customers through US production and testing.

The EVBox Troniq Modular is built for businesses looking to invest in EV charging infrastructure and who want to maximise their revenue stream to grow with their operations. The charger’s upgradeable power modules allow customers to have a power output ranging from 90kW to 240 kW in 30 kW increments. Whether the use case calls for 90kW, 120kW, 150kW, 180kW, 210kW, or 240kW, the Troniq Modular is designed to scale with all business customers’ needs as their demand for EV chargers expands.

Thanks to dynamic load balancing technology, the Troniq Modular allows multiple vehicles to charge simultaneously, reducing dwell and wait times at charging locations even as EV adoption grows exponentially. Plus, with a multi-language touchscreen and intuitive status LED indicator lights, drivers can expect a swift, hassle-free charging session every time. The station can connect to any OCPP-compliant backend and easily integrate into existing businesses.

Founded in 2010, EVBox has delivered over 500,000 charging ports to partners and customers globally. The solutions EVBox is offering include charging stations for residential, commercial, and fast-charging network usage, as well as charging management software.
