Kempower says the key differentiator of its solution is the dynamically shared power, which is controlled and optimised through the company’s own ChargEye software. The equipment  shipped to Alberta can provide power to six Kempower Satellites with each one having the potential to dynamically dispense up to 300KW per plug.

“Kempower is revolutionising the electric vehicle charging industry as it expands offerings of its diverse DC-FC EV charging programs to North America,” said Kempower North America president Tim Joyce. “We want to accelerate the EV evolution in the ongoing efforts towards a cleaner and quieter planet for us all.”

Kempower produces NEVI-compliant, reliable, and user-friendly DC fast charging solutions in Durham, North Carolina and in Lahti, Finland, for all electric cars, trucks, buses, boats, and machines.
