Located near Ionna's headquarters, this site transforms a historic gas station into a state-of-the-art charging facility, the first of its kind in North Carolina.

The Rechargery, designed to serve local and travelling customers in the Triangle, features 10 covered charging bays supporting both CCS and NACS with up to 400kW and 800+ Volts. Amenities include an indoor driver’s lounge with secure bathrooms, coffee, food, and Wi-Fi, as well as outdoor, pet-friendly spaces.

Ionna also announced the appointment of Jackie Slope as chief technology officer. With over 15 years of experience in sports and entertainment, he will lead the deployment of hardware, software, and customer experience technologies.
