Spread over an acre, the centre features 40 DC fast chargers, including 28 Tesla V4 Superchargers and 12 premium chargers from ABB, offering up to 350 kW.
Bill Reid, Rove’s chairman and CEO, said the goal was to create more than just a charging station. His company aims to provide a community destination where customers feel supported, whether they are local commuters or EV-dependent businesses. The centre offers a 3,000-square-foot market, ReCharge by Gelson's, which provides fresh food, beverages, and other modern conveniences. A 24/7 lounge with free Wi-Fi, clean bathrooms, and a well-lit charging area with security ensures drivers are always comfortable and safe.
Rove also launched a mobile app to enhance the experience. The app offers real-time charger availability, charging session tracking, and mobile orders for the ReCharge market. Customers can also manage car wash vouchers through the app, though it is not required for charging.
Rove plans to open 10 more centres across Southern California by 2026, continuing its mission to enhance the EV charging experience with convenience and reliability.
