The Finnish company already has sales and services, as well as marketing activities in Germany, and the plan is to build on and expand the activities already established in the country. The new facilities will be located in the Euref Campus in Düsseldorf, a lively ecosystem around the topics of energy, sustainability, and mobility.

The announcement of the expansion follows important milestones for the company, such as Eichrecht certification (calibration law) and Kempower says the official opening of the location is planned for the beginning of 2025 at the latest.
Kempower says with the expansion, it marks its position as a pioneer in the charging infrastructure market, while expanding its local presence to better support regional business activities.

“Düsseldorf is an excellent location for setting up of our first office in Germany, a knowledge hub with our experts in sales, services, and marketing to support the strategically important DACH market,” says Tomi Ristimäki, CEO of Kempower.

“With a central hub and an increased physical presence, we want to serve even better our customers and partners in the DACH market. The Euref campus’ focus on energy and mobility transition, and sustainability, fit well with our vision to make this planet a cleaner and quieter place for all of us.”
