The two EV ChargePoint stations are now available for public, client, corporate fleet and employee use, marking a milestone in Bowman’s commitment to sustainability and environmental impact.

Bowman is a national engineering services firm delivering infrastructure solutions to customers who own, develop and maintain the built environment. The installation is representative of the company’s two-pronged strategic initiative to expand its portfolio of sustainability-focused services and positively affect its own environmental impact. The EV charging stations leveraged funding from the State of Vermont Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Grant Program supported by the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). The project was originally initiated by Trudell Consulting Engineers, a company acquired by Bowman in January 2024, and completed as Bowman post-closing. Over the past two years, Bowman has been introducing electric vehicles to its national fleet based on mission alignment and availability of infrastructure.

"Installing this EV charging system at our Burlington office is a significant achievement for Bowman and a next step in our deliberate and long-term commitment to sustainability and environmental services," said Gary Bowman, chairman and chief executive officer at Bowman. "This installation offers a valuable benefit to our employees, clients and the community. We look forward to executing more projects like this one for our customers, and for ourselves."
