The 32,000 square foot facility features 22 hyper-fast chargers and a new technology development lab, allowing for advanced validation and stress-testing to ensure equipment operates reliably in diverse real-world conditions.

The campus includes Electrify America's Centre of Excellence, which opened in 2018, and the new technology development lab. These labs complement the company's 24/7 network operations centre, customer contact centre, field service engineers, and preventative maintenance, underpinning the customer charging experience.

"Electrify America Technology Campus demonstrates our commitment to EV drivers today and in the future as we continue to evolve and define a maturing industry," said Robert Barrosa, president and CEO of Electrify America. "The testing and analysis at our labs advance our ability to provide high-quality hyper-fast charging experiences."

The centre of excellence lab conducts hardware testing, interoperability testing with over 25 automakers, and software/firmware testing. The new technology development lab focuses on enhanced validation, stress testing, and product qualification.

Electrify America's network has seen exponential growth, with over 10 million charging sessions in 2023. The new facility is critical to enhancing the EV charging experience and supporting future automaker collaborations and quality testing.

Since 2018, over 35,000 hours of testing has helped Electrify America expedite the deployment of technologies like hyper-fast 350kW charging and Plug&Charge capabilities.
