This collaboration will cater to the growing need for reliable and scalable charging infrastructure, focusing on India’s strategic highway network. Kempower and Zeon start the collaboration with a target to establish a network of over 20 charging hubs in India over the upcoming years, with one charging site in Sira, Karnataka already installed.

Kempower will deliver its state-of-the-art DC fast-charging solutions to charging sites operated by Zeon, with each site capable of delivering 200-400 kW of power and offering 6-8 charging outputs per hub. This setup is designed with the flexibility to scale up as demand grows, ensuring the infrastructure remains future proof.

As part of their long-term vision, Kempower and Zeon have also signed a service agreement, ensuring ongoing maintenance and support for the charging infrastructure.

Since the foundation of the company in early 2020, Zeon has been committed to addressing the evolving demands of the public EV charging market in India. With a focus on highway charging infrastructure, Zeon started with simple charging stations but has steadily expanded its offerings to match the premium charging solutions that EV drivers expect.

As the adoption of EVs continues to rise in India, the need for robust, accessible charging solutions has never been more pressing. Kempower and Zeon say their collaboration will play a critical role in meeting this demand, ensuring that EV drivers have access to fast, reliable charging at strategic points across the country.
